The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Roll measures 22 inches by 10 yards and features silicon carbide ULF grit. This roll is designed for consistent finishing, blending, polishing, and cleaning on various metals, wood, plastic surfaces, and hard-to-reach areas. The roll stock can be easily cut to any desired length, providing consistent surface conditioning throughout its life. Its load resistance design keeps abrasive particles exposed for maintaining a consistent cut rate. The general-purpose pad can be hand-cut for precise control or paired with a hand pad holder for uniform finishing, and it is compatible with inline or oscillating sanders to cover larger surfaces. Manufactured with a choice of silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, or talc abrasive minerals, this product offers versatility; silicon carbide is sharp and suitable for low-pressure applications like paint preparation and finishing, aluminum oxide offers a high cut rate and long life, and talc provides a mild abrasive for satin or high-gloss finishes when paired with polish. The abrasive minerals are incorporated into a non-woven fiber matrix, creating an open-web material that runs cool and resists loading to maintain high performance by limiting fiber clogging.
