The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Roll measures 24 inches by 10 yards and features aluminum oxide medium grit abrasive for consistent finishing, blending, polishing, and cleaning on metals, wood, plastics, and hard-to-reach areas. The roll stock can be easily cut to any length, providing consistent surface conditioning for the life of the product. It incorporates load resistance technology that keeps abrasive particles exposed, maintaining a consistent cut rate. This general-purpose pad may be cut and used by hand for precise control or paired with a hand pad holder for uniform finishing on wider widths, and can also be used with inline or oscillating sanders for larger areas. The roll is produced with abrasives incorporated into a non-woven fiber matrix, creating an open-web material that runs cool and resists loading by limiting fiber clogging, thus sustaining high-performance cutting. Aluminum oxide, a hard and blocky mineral, provides a high cut rate and long life compared to silicon carbide and talc options. Typical applications include blending, cleaning, contour finishing, and lacquer sanding, serving industries such as metalworking, maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), and woodworking.
