The 3M utility cloth roll measures 1-1/2 inches wide by 50 yards long and features aluminum oxide abrasive with a 220 grit rating. The desired length of the strip can be torn by hand from the roll for specific applications. The aluminum oxide abrasive is suitable for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, wood, and plastic. It is known for its fast cut-rate, hardness, and long life, making it effective in grinding, sanding, and finishing tasks. The light J-weight cloth backing provides flexibility to conform to circular edges, angles, and various contours while remaining durable when bent or rolled without tearing or shelling.
