3M™ Stikit™ Gold Paper Sheet Roll 216U measures 2-3/4" x 25 yards and features P80 grit aluminum oxide abrasive designed for finishing applications. The roll includes long-lasting aluminum oxide abrasive grains on a lightweight paper backing with an open coat and load-resistant coating to prevent loading and extend use, producing a smooth finish. It is compatible with 2-3/4 inch wide 3M™ Stikit™ hand pads (sold separately) and comes with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing that allows quick and easy attachment and clean removal to leave an uncontaminated surface for subsequent sheets. The open coat construction spaces abrasive grains to collect dust and debris, reducing loading, and provides a more aggressive cut than closed-coat abrasives of the same grade. Typical applications include finishing, lacquer sanding, scuffing, sealant removal, varnish stripping, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture production, and primary wood and panel processing.
