The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Paper Sheet Roll 216U measures 2-3/4" x 30 yards and features P100 grit aluminum oxide abrasive designed for convenience and versatility in finishing applications. It combines open coat aluminum oxide abrasive grains on a lightweight paper backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for quick and easy attachment to 3M™ Stikit™ hand pads (sold separately). The open coat construction spaces abrasive grains to prevent loading caused by wood or paint dust, improving longevity and producing a smooth finish. The load-resistant coating further reduces clogging, and the adhesive backing allows clean removal, leaving no residue for subsequent sheets or discs. This product is suitable for lightweight hand sanding and finishing tasks commonly found in woodworking, including varnish, sealers, whitewood, lacquers, sealant removal, varnish stripping, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, and primary wood and panel processing industries. It supports a more aggressive cut than closed coat abrasives of the same grade, facilitating faster material removal and improved efficiency.
