3M™ Stikit™ Gold Paper Sheet Roll 216U measures 2-3/4 inches by 45 yards and features P150 grit aluminum oxide abrasive for finishing applications. This roll combines open coat aluminum oxide abrasive grains on a lightweight paper backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, allowing quick and easy attachment to 3M™ Stikit™ hand pads (sold separately) sized 2-3/4 inches wide, available in various lengths. The open coat design spaces abrasive grains to reduce loading by wood or paint dust and debris, enhancing cutting aggressiveness and prolonging disc life. The aluminum oxide abrasive grains, combined with a load-resistant coating, help prevent loading and deliver a smooth finish suitable for lightweight hand sanding on varnish, sealers, whitewood, and light color substrates. The product is commonly used in finishing, lacquer sanding, scuffing, sealant removal, varnish stripping, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture production, and primary wood and panel processing. The adhesive backing enables the sheet to press on and remove cleanly from hand or backup pads without contaminating the surface for subsequent sheets or discs.
