The 3M™ full tapered cartridge roll 341D measures 3/8" x 1" x 1/8" and features a closed coat of aluminum oxide abrasive with P120 grit, secured by a heat-resistant resin bond. Designed for metalworking applications, this cartridge roll provides easy access to small, hard-to-reach spaces for sanding, finishing, blending corners, contour finishing, deburring internal diameters, grinding, and polishing. The aluminum oxide abrasive is known for its fast cut-rate, long life, and toughness, self-fracturing to expose fresh cutting edges, and is suitable for use on a wide variety of materials including ferrous alloys in both woodworking and metalworking. The heat-resistant resin bond ensures stability under high heat or pressure. The cartridge roll fits onto a compatible cartridge roll mandrel (sold separately) that attaches to rotary tools such as die grinders or drills, allowing precise work on detailed or internal surfaces. The center hole diameter must match the diameter of the mandrel pilot inserted to ensure proper fit. This product is widely used in the metal fabrication industry.
