The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Roll measures 24" x 10 yards and features Aluminum Oxide VFN grit designed for consistent finishing, blending, polishing, and cleaning on various metals, wood, and plastics, including hard-to-reach areas. The roll stock can be easily cut to any length, providing uniform surface conditioning throughout its use. It offers load resistance that keeps abrasive particles exposed to maintain a consistent cut rate. This general-purpose pad can be hand-cut for precise control or paired with a hand pad holder and used on inline or oscillating sanders for larger surfaces. The Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Rolls are available with silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, or talc abrasive minerals. Aluminum oxide is a hard, blocky mineral that provides a high cut rate and long life, while silicon carbide, a sharp synthetic mineral, is suited for low-pressure applications like paint prep and finishing, producing a finer finish but breaking down faster. Talc is a mild abrasive for satin finishes or polished high gloss finishes in topcoat rubbing applications. The abrasives are embedded in a non-woven fiber matrix, creating a stable abrasive system that delivers consistent results, runs cool, and resists loading to maintain high performance by limiting clogging. Typical applications include blending, cleaning, contour finishing, finishing, and lacquer sanding within metalworking, MRO, and woodworking industries.
