The 3M™ Stikit™ paper sheet roll 426U measures 2-3/4" x 50 yards and features a 180 grit silicon carbide abrasive constructed on an A-weight light paper backing with a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing and an anti-loading coating. This open coat abrasive is designed for fast cutting and load resistance, providing a smoother finish compared to aluminum oxide or garnet abrasives. The silicon carbide abrasive is a synthetic mineral favored for final finishing in applications such as paint preparation, white wood sanding, sealer sanding, solid surface finishing, general sanding, finishing, blending, surface leveling, clear coat dulling, and bare wood sanding. The PSA backing ensures secure adhesion to sanding blocks or backup pads, enabling quick and easy changes without leaving residue, which minimizes waste and is ideal for high production environments. The overall product is suitable for industries including cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, and primary wood and panel processing. The roll is sized to accommodate various sanding blocks and is constructed to handle lacquer sanding, scuffing, sealant removal, and varnish stripping.
