The 3M Stikit Vibrator Sander Roll measures 4-1/2" W x 10 yd and features a silicon carbide abrasive with a grit rating of 100. This product is designed for lightweight hand sanding and finishing, utilizing long-lasting aluminum oxide abrasive grains on a lightweight paper backing. The open coat construction, combined with a load-resistant coating, helps prevent clogging and loading, allowing for longer use while producing a smooth finish. It is particularly effective in woodworking applications, offering a fine finish on varnish, sealers, and light color substrates. The pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backside allows for easy application to a backup pad or hand pad, and it removes cleanly without leaving residue. The open coat design not only prevents loading but also provides a more aggressive cut than a closed coat abrasive of the same grade, resulting in faster sanding results.
