The Push Station, Evacuation, Yellow - PSEV-Y is designed for a variety of industrial and commercial applications, functioning similarly to traditional fire alarm pull stations by providing a simple contact closure to activate emergency equipment, audible and visual signals, and alarm panels. This yellow evacuation unit features a push and turn reset button and can be equipped with a tamper-resistant polycarbonate cover, which offers protection against physical damage and helps prevent false alarms without hindering emergency use (cover not included). The included terminal block allows for straightforward installation and maintenance, and the unit can be mounted on existing single-gang electrical boxes or 4 x 4 electrical boxes with plaster ring adapters (customer supplied). The Push Station is UL and CUL listed, adhering to Type 3R specifications for outdoor use when used with the cover and gasket, and it is ADA compliant, requiring less than five foot pounds for activation. Its contact ratings are 600VAC @ 3 amps and 250VDC @ 1 amp.
