The EF1459 is a horizontal band saw on a vertical frame, designed for versatility in cutting metals, plastics, and woods with precision. This all-purpose band saw boasts a capacity of 14-1/2" under the guides and a 9" cut, utilizing an inclined track for accurate gravity feed that enhances cutting efficiency while allowing for optimal pressure adjustments via counterweight control. Safety is prioritized with a stationary workpiece requirement during operation, augmented by a hydraulic safety feed regulator and an adjustable saw blade guard. The robust construction includes a large, precision-ground cast iron table measuring 18-1/2" x 30" and a table height of 30" from the floor. It supports blade sizes from 1/4" to 3/4" wide without any adjustments needed, utilizes rubber-tired blade wheels to prevent slippage, and comes with an angle plate swivel work block, large C-clamp, blade/speed selector chart, bi-metal blade sized 3/4" width x 8/12T x 10' length .035 thick, a one horsepower motor, and a switch. The band saw features blade speeds of 70, 140, 270, and 525 FPM and includes guards that cover four step pulleys, the blade, and the lower wheel.
