These high-quality vacuum desiccators are designed to provide reliable dry storage or experiments over extended periods, maintaining a 29 in.-Hg vacuum for over 72 hours at room temperature, which ensures vacuum integrity and lowers maintenance needs. The single-piece molded design (except for the door) enhances vacuum capability with virtually no leakage and exceptional durability, while the cabinet style maximizes usable space and allows for stacking. Featuring a Viton® 3-way valve for consistent vacuum draw, release, or gas exchange, the desiccators are equipped with an analog vacuum gauge located on the front door for easy monitoring. Constructed from transparent polycarbonate, they are durable, easy to clean, and chemical-resistant, offering quick visualization of contents. The amber-tinted UV blocking models effectively block 100% of UVA, B, and C light to protect light-sensitive samples from damage or discoloration. The hinged door allows for easy access and includes built-in locking tabs that secure the door when under vacuum. The removable and repositionable perforated shelves accommodate various storage needs, and additional shelves can be purchased separately. Built-in ports enable attachment of up to three additional valves (sold separately), and a desiccant tray is included (desiccants sold separately). These desiccators can be used with any vacuum that has a free air capacity of 1.5 cubic feet per minute (CFM) or greater. The interior dimensions are 24.8 x 25.4 x 23.8 cm (9-3/4 x 10 x 9-3/8"), and the exterior dimensions are 32.2 x 28.5 x 27.1 cm (12-5/8 x 11-1/4 x 10-5/8").
