The Purair® Basic Ductless Fume Hoods are engineered to deliver high-level performance features suitable for a range of settings, including research laboratories, educational institutions, and forensic labs. These hoods utilize innovative Air Science® Multiplex™ filtration technology to safeguard users and the environment from hazardous vapors produced on the work surface. Key features include a high-efficiency EBM-Papst EC blower, energy-saving LED lighting, and a low airflow alarm that alerts users to insufficient face velocity, thereby enhancing safety. The design also incorporates a unique filter clamping mechanism that prevents bypass leakage outside the cabinet. Filters are sold separately, with a minimum order of two required for operation; up to four filters can be stacked for varied applications. Recommended filters include the ASTS-001 general purpose carbon filter for solvent, organic, alcohol, and hydrocarbon vapors; the ASTS-015 ACI carbon filter for acid vapors; the ASTS-013 carbon filter for formaldehyde vapors; and the ASTS-030 HEPA filter for powder applications. Warranty terms apply as per the manufacturer's guidelines.
