The operation utilizes a driveshaft extending the full length of the conveyor, transmitting power to the rollers via a drive spool and belt. This system allows for product accumulation with minimal back pressure, as the spools slip on the driveshaft when back pressure is applied to the conveyed product. These conveyors are suitable for carrying light loads of up to 15 lbs per roller at speeds of 25-120 feet per minute, and are designed for flat-bottomed, evenly distributed loads commonly found in distribution, warehousing, food packaging, and parcel handling applications. The specifications include a length of 10 feet, a 26-inch frame width, and 1.9-inch diameter by 16 gauge galvanized rollers on 3-inch centers, along with two supports for a 36-inch top of roller. It is important to note that this item is a slaved unit that requires coupling to a separate drive section to be operational, and slaved and driven sections are only compatible with other Omni Metalcraft Lineshaft conveyors. A single drive section can support maximum run lengths of 40 feet with a ½ HP motor, 60 feet with a ¾ HP motor, and 80 feet with a 1 HP motor.
