The Super Strong 4-Sided Smoking Shelter features a tough yet lightweight black steel frame with a clear curved roof and clear side panels, designed for easy assembly by simply bolting together. It creates a designated freestanding smoking area compliant with smoking ban legislation. The frame is constructed from mild steel with a tube size of 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/32", which has been shot blasted, zinc coated, and powder coated with proxy/polyester for enhanced durability. The roof is supported by curved mild steel beams and is made of 5/8" cellular multiwall polycarbonate, known for its strength, durability, high impact resistance, and UV protective coating. The side panels are also made of mild steel and are pre-glazed with surface fixing rivets using 3/16" super strong polycarbonate glazing that includes a UV protective coating. The shelter comes with a 10-year warranty against discoloration on the roof and side panels. It requires a solid, level base for fixing, and assembly typically takes 4 to 6 hours for two qualified workers, with all mounting fixings supplied. The product is delivered flat-packed on a pallet with full assembly instructions. Note that due to Florida building code, wind-load requirements range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost; site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an additional cost if required.
