The super strong four-sided smoking shelter features a tough yet lightweight black steel frame equipped with a clear curved roof and clear side panels. It is designed for easy assembly, necessitating only bolting together to create a designated freestanding smoking area that complies with smoking ban legislation. The structure utilizes a mild steel frame with tube dimensions of 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/32", which is shot blasted, zinc coated, and finished with a proxy/polyester powder coating for enhanced durability. The roof is supported by curved mild steel beams and constructed from 5/8" cellular multiwall polycarbonate that offers high impact resistance and includes a UV protective coating. The side panels are made of mild steel pre-glazed with surface-fixing rivets and feature 3/16" super strong polycarbonate glazing, also with UV protection. The product comes with a 10-year warranty against discoloration on both the roof and side panels, and it requires a solid, level base for installation. Once the base is prepared, assembly typically takes 4 to 6 hours for two qualified workers, with all mounting fixings included. The shelter is delivered flat-packed on a pallet with complete assembly instructions. It is important to note that due to Florida building code regulations, wind-load ratings of 130 mph to 180 mph apply, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida. All shelters sold to Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an extra cost if needed.
