The super strong open front smoking shelter features a robust yet lightweight black steel frame, complemented by a clear curved roof and clear half side panels. Designed for easy assembly, it requires simple bolting together, creating a designated freestanding smoking area that complies with smoking ban legislation. The mild steel frame consists of tubes sized 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/32", which are shot blasted, zinc coated, and powder coated for enhanced durability. The roof is supported by curved mild steel beams and constructed with 5/8" cellular multiwall polycarbonate, providing strong impact resistance with a UV protective coating. The mild steel side panels come pre-glazed with surface fixing rivets and utilize 3/16" super strong polycarbonate glazing, also featuring UV protection. The shelter includes a 10-year warranty against discoloration on both the roof and side panels. It requires a solid, level base for installation, and once the base is prepared, assembly typically takes 4 - 6 hours for two qualified workers. All necessary mounting fixings are supplied, and the structure is delivered flat-packed on a pallet along with full assembly instructions. It is important to note that due to Florida building codes, the wind-load requirement ranges from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, with site-specific engineered drawings and calculations available for building code compliance as needed.
