This freestanding smoking shelter is designed for easy assembly by bolting together, providing a designated smoking area that complies with smoking ban legislation. The mild steel frame has a tube size of 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/32", which is shot blasted, zinc coated, and powder coated for enhanced durability, while the roof is supported by curved mild steel beams. The strong and durable side panels are made of mild steel and pre-glazed with surface fixing rivets, featuring 3/16" polycarbonate glazing that includes a UV protective coating. The shelter comes with a 10-year warranty against roof and side panel discoloration and requires a solid, level base for installation. Typical assembly time is 4 to 6 hours for two qualified workpeople, and all mounting fixings are supplied. The product is delivered flat-packed on a pallet with full assembly instructions. In compliance with Florida building codes, the wind load for shelters sold in Florida is between 130 mph and 180 mph, and engineering services for site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an additional cost if required.
