The super strong 4-sided smoking shelter features a tough yet lightweight black steel frame with a clear curved roof and clear half side panels, creating a designated freestanding smoking area compliant with smoking ban legislation. It is constructed with a mild steel frame using a tube size of 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/32", which is shot blasted, zinc coated, and proxy/polyester powder coated for enhanced durability. The roof is supported by curved mild steel beams and is made of 5/8" cellular multiwall polycarbonate, providing strong, durable construction with high impact resistance and UV protective coating. The mild steel side panels are pre-glazed with surface fixing rivets and utilize 3/16" super strong polycarbonate glazing that also features UV protective coating. The shelter comes with a 10-year warranty against discoloration on the roof and side panels. It requires a solid, level base for proper fixing, and after preparation, assembly typically takes 4 to 6 hours for two qualified workpeople, with all mounting fixings supplied. The shelter is delivered flat-packed on a pallet with full assembly instructions. Note that due to Florida building code, the wind-load requirements in Florida range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida. Shelters sold to Florida will require engineering service at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an additional cost if required.
