The super strong 4-sided smoking shelter features a tough yet light black steel frame with a clear curved roof and clear half side panels, designed for easy assembly by bolting together. This freestanding shelter creates a designated smoking area that complies with smoking ban legislation. It includes a mild steel frame with a tube size of 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/32", which is shot blasted, zinc coated, and proxy/polyester powder coated for enhanced durability. The roof is supported by curved mild steel beams and constructed with 5/8" cellular multiwall polycarbonate, providing high impact resistance and protection against UV rays. The side panels are made of mild steel pre-glazed with 3/16" super strong polycarbonate glazing, also featuring a UV protective coating. The shelter comes with a 10-year warranty against discoloration on the roof and side panels and requires a solid, level base for installation. Once the base is prepared, assembly typically takes 4 to 6 hours for two qualified individuals. All necessary mounting fixings are supplied, and the kit is delivered flat-packed on a pallet with full assembly instructions. It is important to note that due to Florida building code requirements, the wind-load capacity in Florida is 130 mph to 180 mph, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida. Shelters sold to Florida will require additional engineering services at extra cost, with site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance also available at an additional cost if needed.
