Reel racks are designed to endure the rigors of a manufacturing or distribution environment, allowing for the storage and dispensing of poly or wire rope, hose, electrical cable, or chain on reels or spools. The units feature double welded uprights made from robust 3" structural channel, which are welded to a sturdy 4" channel base. The 96" units come equipped with 3 pairs of adjustable axle brackets, while the 120" and 144" units have 4 pairs, with additional brackets available for separate purchase. These adjustable axle brackets are positioned on 2" centers along the uprights and can accommodate axles with diameters up to 2 1/2". Each bracket pair supports a capacity of 2,000 lbs. It is advisable to secure the units to the floor prior to use. The racks are shipped knocked down and feature a grey enamel finish with contrasting orange axle brackets. The width measurement indicates the inside dimension, with an additional 8" required for the overall width.
