Reel racks are designed to endure the demands of a manufacturing or distribution environment, providing a secure system for storing and dispensing poly or wire rope, hose, electrical cable, or chain on reels or spools. Constructed with double welded uprights made from substantial 3" structural channel welded to a 4" channel base, the 96" units include 3 pairs of adjustable axle brackets, while the 120" and 144" units feature 4 pairs; additional brackets can be ordered separately. These axle brackets, which accept axles up to 2 1/2" in diameter, can be adjusted on 2" centers along the uprights. It is highly recommended that the units be anchored to the floor before use. The rack ships knocked down and features a grey enamel finish with orange axle brackets. The stated width reflects the inside dimension, with an additional 8" required for the overall width dimension. Each bracket pair supports a capacity of 2,000 lbs.
