Reel racks are designed to endure the rigorous demands found in manufacturing or distribution environments, allowing for the storage and dispensing of poly or wire rope, hose, electrical cable, or chain—essentially anything on a reel or spool. These racks feature double welded uprights made from robust 3" structural channel, which are welded to a 4" channel base. The 96" units come equipped with 3 pairs of adjustable axle brackets, while the 120" and 144" units include 4 pairs; additional brackets can be ordered separately. The adjustable axle brackets are positioned on 2" centers along the uprights and can accommodate axles up to 2 1/2" in diameter. Each pair of brackets has a weight capacity of 2,000 lbs. It is strongly recommended that the units be secured to the floor before use. The racks ship knocked down and feature a grey enamel finish with distinctive orange axle brackets. The width measurement refers to the inside dimension, and an additional 8" should be added for the overall width dimension.
