Reel racks are designed to endure the demanding conditions found in manufacturing or distribution environments, allowing for the storage and dispensing of poly or wire rope, hose, electrical cable, or chain—anything on a reel or spool. These racks feature double welded uprights made from robust 3" structural channel, secured to a 4" channel base. The 96" units include 3 pairs of axle brackets, while the 120" and 144" units come with 4 pairs; additional brackets can be ordered separately. The adjustable axle brackets can be positioned on 2" centers vertically along the uprights and accommodate axles up to 2 1/2" in diameter. It is highly advisable to secure the units to the floor prior to use. The racks are shipped knocked down and have a grey enamel finish with orange axle brackets. The width measurement indicates the inside dimension, requiring an additional 8" to determine the overall width. Each pair of brackets supports a capacity of 2,000 lbs.
