The Steel King® SK2000® pallet rack add-on unit measures 96"W x 42"D x 144"H and has a weight capacity of 5080 lbs. It features high strength tubular steel framing with built-in braces for additional strength, and both uprights and beams are finished with a durable powder coat. The tear-drop connection allows for interchangeability with most industrial storage rack systems currently in use. Its closed tube upright design provides 250% more frontal impact strength and 68% greater side impact resistance compared to open back columns, thereby enhancing safety while minimizing the risk of bending or twisting. The three rivet connection offers superior strength compared to the standard two rivet design. The unit includes 10 gauge welded base plates for floor anchoring and its beams are constructed from high-strength steel (minimum 55,000 P.S.I.) with continuous welded structural tubing for long-lasting durability, preventing moisture and debris accumulation. The 1-5/8"H step beams are compatible with optional decking (not included), and beam ends feature a three rivet lock design with a safety lock for secure installation on the uprights.
