The CM® Flat Eye Rigging Hook Latch Kit has a capacity of 6000 lbs and is specifically designed for use with synthetic slings. This kit includes a flat eye rigging hook that features a wide, smooth, load-bearing surface to prevent damage to synthetic materials, thereby promoting longer sling life. The flat eye opening eliminates bunching and pinching of the synthetic sling, ensuring it can be utilized at full capacity. The hook boasts a high sling strength due to its design, which exceeds the WSTDA recommended radii, ensuring maximum ultimate synthetic strength is achieved. Constructed from quenched and tempered alloy steel, the hook is strong and durable. It offers versatile use with both web and round slings, although it's essential to ensure that working load limits are compatible when using it with round slings. The kit is available with and without latches and utilizes the same latches as other standard CM rigging hooks. It features a 5:1 design factor, is CE compliant, meets or exceeds ASME B30.10 standards, and is proudly made in the USA.
