The CM® Flat Eye Rigging Hook Without Latch has a capacity of 6000 lbs and is specifically designed for use with synthetic slings. This hook features a wide, smooth, load-bearing surface that prevents damage to synthetic materials, promoting longer sling life. The flat eye opening effectively eliminates bunching and pinching of the synthetic sling, allowing the sling to be utilized at full capacity. Key attributes include a high sling strength due to the flat eye design, which enhances the synthetic sling's strength compared to standard round eye-type fittings, and an eye width that exceeds WSTDA recommended radii to ensure maximum ultimate synthetic strength is achieved. The hook is made of quenched and tempered alloy steel, offering strong durability for versatile use with both web and round slings (note: ensure working load limits are compatible when using round slings). The hook is available with and without latches and uses the same latches as other standard CM rigging hooks.
