The CM® Flat Eye Rigging Hook with Latch has a capacity of 10,000 lbs and is specifically designed for use with synthetic slings, featuring a wide, smooth load-bearing surface that prevents damage to the synthetic material, thereby promoting longer sling life. The flat eye opening eliminates the bunching and pinching of the synthetic sling, allowing for its full capacity utilization. Key benefits include high sling strength achieved through the flat eye design that exceeds WSTDA recommended radii, providing significantly higher synthetic sling strength compared to standard round eye-type fittings. It also offers a longer sling life due to the smooth flat bearing surface that prevents abrasive damage. Constructed from quenched and tempered alloy steel, the hook is strong and durable, and versatile in use, compatible with both web and round slings (with a note to ensure working load limits are compatible for round slings). The hook is available with and without latches and utilizes the same latches as other standard CM Rigging Hooks.
