The CM® Quick Connect Hook has a capacity of 8400 lbs and is specifically designed for use with synthetic slings, providing a quick and efficient method to attach hooks without the need for additional hardware or assembly tools. The hook's large bearing surface prevents sling bunching, allowing the sling to operate at its full capacity, while its color-coded design assists in easily matching common synthetic sling capacities. Key features include the ability to attach the sling quickly by simply opening the latch, inserting the sling, and securing it, as well as a smooth, flat bearing surface that minimizes damage to the synthetic sling and eliminates the need for edge protection. The quick connect feature also aids in maintaining the lightweight and cost-effectiveness of synthetic slings by removing the necessity for oversized components. Each hook is designed with a recessed eye to secure the sling in place, ensuring it does not accidentally detach. Furthermore, these hooks are forged for maximum strength and durability, each being individually proof tested to twice the working load limit. The hooks utilize standard latches found in CM Clevis® sling hooks, and their I-beam design helps reduce overall sling weight.
