The CM® Quick Connect Hook is designed with a green finish and has a capacity of 5300 lbs, making it ideal for use with synthetic slings. This innovative hook promotes efficiency by allowing for quick and easy rigging without the need for additional tools or hardware; users can simply open the latch, insert the sling, and secure it in place. The hook features a large bearing surface that helps prevent sling bunching and minimizes wear, thereby extending the life of the sling by protecting it from abrasions and sharp load edges. Furthermore, this hook is designed to maintain the weight savings of synthetic slings, as it eliminates the requirement for oversized components, allowing for quick sling-to-load connections without the use of a choker or basket hitch. Quick Connect Hooks are color-coded to match common industry synthetic sling capacities, and the working load limits are forged into each hook for easy reference. Additionally, the hook eye has a recessed area for secure sling attachment, ensuring the sling remains in place unless intentionally removed.
