The DC gearmotor with right-angle shaft features a power rating of 1/8 HP and operates at 500 RPM with a gear ratio of 5 to 1. It has an overhung load capacity of 235 pounds and a full load torque of 13 lb. in. The motor is equipped with a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure, a 34 frame size, and operates at 90V, drawing 1.4 amps as indicated on the nameplate. The worm-type right-angle gearing includes a hardened steel worm paired with a bronze worm wheel, ensuring long life and quiet operation. The precision machined aluminum housings and the gearbox are designed with all ball bearings, and the housing is sealed with permanent lubrication provided by an oil bath. The output shaft can be field-interchanged from left hand to right hand style through reassembly. For optimal seal life, the lubrication breather is positioned for horizontal mounting, and when using other mountings, a 90 degree 1/8" NPT taper pipe elbow (not included) is necessary to reorient the breather plug. The motor portion should not be mounted below the gearhead, and overhung load capacities are specified at the center of the output shaft. Please note that the conduit box is not supplied with the motor.
