The DC gearmotor features a right-angle shaft with a power rating of 1/17 HP, operating at 125 RPM with a gear ratio of 20 to 1. It can support an overhung load of 185 pounds and provides a full load torque of 16 lb. in. The motor is housed in a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure with a 25 frame size, operating at 90V with a nameplate current of 1 amp. The worm-type right-angle gearing consists of a hardened steel worm paired with a bronze worm wheel, ensuring durability and quiet performance. It is constructed with precision machined aluminum housings, featuring a gearbox that utilizes all ball bearings. The sealed housing incorporates permanent lubrication via an oil bath, while the output shaft allows for field interchangeability between left-hand and right-hand styles upon reassembly. For enhanced seal life, a lubrication breather is configured for horizontal mounting, requiring reorientation with a 90 degree 1/8" NPT taper pipe elbow for other configurations (not included). The motor's design stipulates that the motor portion should not be mounted below the gearhead, and overhung load capacities are determined at the center of the output shaft. Note that a conduit box is not supplied with the motor. This gearmotor is compatible with Baldor GP233007, Bodine 96 (with a Leeson armature voltage of 90V DC), Minarik 507-02-129, and Rae M4000G14.
