The DC gearmotor features a right-angle shaft, 1/8 HP, 250 RPM, and a gear ratio of 10 to 1, with an overhung load capacity of 235 pounds and a full load torque of 25 lb. in. It comes in a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure with a 34 frame, operating at 90V and a nameplate current of 1.4 amps. The worm-type right-angle gearing is constructed with a hardened steel worm paired with a bronze worm wheel, ensuring long life and quiet operation. Precision machined aluminum housings are used, and the gearbox includes all ball bearings. The housing is sealed with permanent lubrication in an oil bath, and the output shaft can be reassembled for field interchangeability from left-hand to right-hand style. For optimal seal life, the lubrication breather is positioned for horizontal mounting, and a 90-degree 1/8" NPT taper pipe elbow is required to reorient the breather plug for other mountings, which is not included. It is important to note that the motor portion of the gearmotor should not be mounted below the gearhead, and overhung load capacities are measured at the center of the output shaft. A conduit box is not supplied with the motor.
