The Peapod Mini is a fully enclosed and locking bike shelter designed to securely park 20 bikes on Velodome Maxrack stands within a compact footprint. Constructed from heavy-duty, anodized aluminum featuring 2" x 2" x 3/16" stainless steel wire mesh side panels, it provides protection against theft and the elements. The shelter includes a mortise and cylinder lock set with 2 keys, and custom door cut outs are available for customer-supplied locks at an extra charge. It is produced in pre-assembled sections for easy assembly, but Maxrack stands are sold separately. The Peapod Mini boasts a modular design with a slim profile, a 42" wide door, and is rustproof, available with barrel, flat, or hip roof options. Additional features include shatter-proof 1/4" glass side panels, powder coating options available upon request, bottom closure panels, and a panic bar. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an extra cost, with particular attention to the Florida Building Code, which requires wind-load considerations of 130 mph to 180 mph; consequently, some shelters cannot be sold in Florida, and any sold there will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost.
