The Peapod Mini is a fully enclosed and locking bike shelter designed to securely accommodate 20 bikes using Velodome Maxrack stands. Constructed from heavy-duty, anodized aluminum featuring 2" x 2" x 3/16" stainless steel wire mesh side panels, it offers protection against theft and adverse weather conditions. The shelter comes equipped with a mortise and cylinder lock set, including 2 keys, and has options for custom door cutouts for customer-supplied locks available at an extra charge. It is built in pre-assembled sections for straightforward assembly, with Maxrack stands sold separately. Key features of the Peapod Mini include a modular design, slim profile, and a 42" wide door, with a rustproof construction available in barrel, flat, or hip roof designs. Additional options consist of shatter-proof 1/4" glass side panels, powder coating available in various colors upon request, bottom closure panels, and a panic bar. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an extra cost, and due to the Florida Building Code, the wind-load requirements in Florida range from 130 mph to 180 mph, with some shelters not available for sale in the state. All shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost.
