The Peapod Mini is a fully enclosed and locking bike shelter designed to securely park 10 bikes in a compact footprint on Velodome MaxRack stands. It is fabricated from heavy-duty, anodized aluminum with 2" x 2" x 3/16" stainless steel wire mesh side panels, providing protection from theft and the elements. The shelter includes a mortise and cylinder lock set with 2 keys, and custom door cutouts are available for customer-supplied locks at an additional charge. It is produced in pre-assembled sections for easy assembly, while the MaxRack stands are sold separately. Key features of the Peapod Mini include a modular design, slim profile, a 42" wide door, rustproof construction, and options for a barrel, flat, or hip roof. Additional options include shatter-proof 1/4" glass side panels, powder coating in various colors upon request, bottom closure panels, and a panic bar. Please note that site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an additional cost. In compliance with the Florida Building Code, the wind-load requirement in Florida ranges from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida. All shelters sold in Florida will require the engineering service at an additional cost.
