The Peapod Mini is a fully enclosed and locking bike shelter designed to securely park 15 bikes in a compact footprint on Velodome Maxrack stands. Constructed from heavy-duty anodized aluminum and fitted with shatter-proof 1/4" glass side panels, it ensures protection against theft and environmental elements. The shelter includes a mortise and cylinder lock set with two keys, and custom door cutouts are available for customer-supplied locks for an additional charge. Optional features include 2" x 2" x 3/16" stainless steel wire mesh side panels, a powder coating with customizable colors, bottom closure panels, and a panic bar. Engineered drawings and calculations specific to site requirements for building code compliance are available for an additional cost. The design caters to a rustproof modular build with a slim profile and a 42" wide door, available in barrel, flat, or hip roof styles. It is important to note that due to the Florida Building Code, wind-load ratings in Florida range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and some shelters may not be permitted for sale in the state; all shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an added cost.
