The Peapod Mini is a fully enclosed and locking bike shelter designed to securely park 20 bikes in a compact footprint on Velodome Maxrack stands. It is fabricated from heavy-duty, anodized aluminum and features shatter-proof, 1/4" glass side panels, providing protection from theft and the elements. The kit includes a mortise and cylinder lock set with 2 keys, and custom door cutouts are available for customer-supplied locks at an extra charge. Optional features include 2" x 2" x 3/16" stainless steel wire mesh side panels, which are available at a price upon request, as well as powder coating in various colors at additional costs. The shelter has a modular design with a slim profile, a 42" wide door, and is rustproof. It offers options for barrel, flat, or hip roofs, bottom closure panels, and a panic bar. Pre-assembled sections facilitate easy assembly, and it is important to note that site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an additional cost; this includes adjustment for wind-load requirements in Florida, which range from 130 mph to 180 mph. Maxrack stands are sold separately.
