The Peapod Mini is a fully enclosed and locking bike shelter designed to securely park 20 bikes in a compact footprint on Velodome Maxrack stands. Fabricated from heavy-duty anodized aluminum, it features shatter-proof 1/4" glass side panels that provide protection from theft and the elements. The shelter includes a mortise and cylinder lock set with 2 keys, with options for custom door cutouts for customer-supplied locks at an additional charge. Optional 2" x 2" x 3/16" stainless steel wire mesh side panels are available, and the product is produced in pre-assembled sections for easy assembly, with Maxrack stands sold separately. Key features include a modular design, a slim profile, a 42" wide door, rustproof materials, and available roof styles including barrel, flat, or hip. Additional options include stainless steel wire mesh side panels, powder coating in various colors, bottom closure panels, and a panic bar. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an additional cost, noting that in Florida, the wind-load requirements range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and certain shelters may not be sold in the state. All shelters sold in Florida will require engineering services at an additional cost.
