The Peapod Mini is a fully enclosed and locking bike shelter designed to securely accommodate 10 bikes on Velodome Maxrack stands within a compact footprint that fits into a standard parking spot. Constructed from heavy-duty, anodized aluminum and featuring shatter-proof 1/4" glass side panels, this shelter provides protection against theft and the elements. The Peapod Mini includes a mortise and cylinder lock set with 2 keys, while custom door cutouts are available for customer-supplied locks at an extra charge. Optional 2" x 2" x 3/16" stainless steel wire mesh side panels can be requested. The product is produced in pre-assembled sections to facilitate easy assembly, while the Maxrack stands are sold separately. Key features include a modular design, slim profile, a 42" wide door, rustproof construction, and options for barrel, flat, or hip roofs. Additional options include stainless steel wire mesh side panels, powder coating in various colors, bottom closure panels, and panic bars. Note that site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available for an additional cost, and due to the Florida Building Code, wind-load requirements in Florida range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, affecting the sale of some shelters in the state, which will also require engineering service at an additional cost.
