The Transit is a classic, anodized aluminum bike shelter, enclosed on three sides to keep bikes dry in all weather conditions. It features a modular rustproof barrel design with options for flat or hip roofs. The shelter undergoes powder coating, with colors and pricing available upon request. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an additional cost. Notably, due to the Florida Building Code, the wind-load requirements in Florida range from 130 mph to 180 mph, which affects the sale of some shelters in that state. Additionally, all shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an extra cost. Bike racks are sold separately.
