The Peapod Mini is a fully enclosed and locking bike shelter designed to securely park 20 bikes using Velodome MaxRack stands, which are sold separately. It is fabricated from heavy-duty anodized aluminum and features 2" x 2" x 3/16" stainless steel wire mesh side panels, ensuring protection from theft and the elements. The shelter includes a mortise and cylinder lock set with 2 keys, and custom door cutouts can be provided for customer-supplied locks at an additional charge. The design is modular and features a slim profile, with a 42" wide door and options for barrel, flat, or hip roofs. Additional options include shatter-proof 1/4" glass side panels, powder coating in various colors upon request, bottom closure panels, and a panic bar. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available for an additional cost, and due to the Florida Building Code, wind-load requirements in Florida range from 130 mph to 180 mph, which means some shelters cannot be sold in the state, and all shelters sold in Florida will require engineering services at an additional cost.
