The Peapod Mini is a fully enclosed and locking bike shelter designed to securely park 15 bikes in a compact footprint utilizing Velodome Maxrack stands. Constructed from heavy-duty, anodized aluminum with 2" x 2" x 3/16" stainless steel wire mesh side panels, this shelter offers protection from theft and the elements. It includes a mortise and cylinder lock set with 2 keys, with options available for custom door cutouts for customer-supplied locks at an extra charge. The shelter is produced in pre-assembled sections to facilitate easy assembly, and Maxrack stands are sold separately. Key features include a modular design, a slim profile, a 42" wide door, rustproof construction, and available roof styles such as barrel, flat, or hip roofs. Additional options include shatter-proof 1/4" glass side panels, powder coating in various colors (pricing available upon request), bottom closure panels, and a panic bar. Note that site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can be provided at an additional cost. In compliance with the Florida Building Code, the wind-load requirements in Florida are between 130 mph to 180 mph, and some shelters may not be available for sale in Florida. All shelters sold in Florida will necessitate the engineering service at an additional cost.
