The W-Series direct heat foot-operated sealer is designed to seal various types of thermoplastic materials including coated aluminum foil, kraft paper, cellophane, polypropylene, poly-nylon, and other thicker materials, though it cannot seal polyethylene. It accommodates materials up to 18" wide and 20 mil total thickness. The sealer features serrated seal bars and is equipped with a German-manufactured thermostat that accurately controls the temperature from 30°F to 550°F (0°C to 300°C). Both jaws are heated simultaneously for improved heat penetration to seal thicker materials. The product includes an adjustable work table and has a limited warranty of 6 months. Operation is straightforward: set the temperature on the temperature controller based on the material to be sealed, wait for the correct setting, insert the material between the sealing bars, and press down on the footboard to create a consistent seal. Key features include protective bars around the sealing jaws, compatibility with a variety of thermoplastic materials, PTFE-coated jaws, a seal length of 18" (450mm), and a seal width of 15mm, with a serrated seal style.
