The 14/3 SOOW Black cable is designed for extra hard usage in various applications, including industrial equipment, heavy tools, battery chargers, portable lights, welding leads, marine dockside power, power extensions, and mining applications. This flexible cord meets OSHA standards and is MSHA listed, successfully passing the MSHA flame test (P-136-29). It is resistant to sunlight, oil, acid, water, and weather. The construction features bare flexible rope-stranded annealed copper conductors with heat, moisture, and oil resistant EPDM rubber insulation according to UL-62 standards. The insulated conductors are cabled with paper fillers, and a tissue-paper separator is wrapped around the assembly for easy jacket removal. A heat, moisture, and oil resistant flexible CPE jacket is extruded over the assembly, completing its robust construction.
