Southwire's in-wall speaker wire, designated as 16/4 CL3R/CMR - 7 STR, is designed for data communications and security applications. It is USA/UL listed, RoHS compliant, and meets various applicable requirements, including UL listing as type CL3R or FPLR at a maximum temperature of 75°C and compliance with FT-4 standards. The product is available in colors black, white, and red. The construction features fully annealed Class B bare or tinned stranded copper conductors, encased in a clear or opaque polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulating jacket. The wire consists of two copper conductors, and the use of bare and tinned copper allows for easy polarity identification by the end user.
