Southwire's 18-16 CU GPT primary auto wire in white is designed for low voltage primary wire applications, suitable for nominal system voltages of 60 volts DC (25 volts AC) or less, specifically in surface vehicle electrical systems. This Type GPT wire is ideal for use in vehicles such as cars, boats, trucks, buses, tractors, and trailers, where it may encounter limited exposure to fluids and physical abuse. The wire meets the SAE International Surface Vehicle Standard J-1128 and is constructed with fully annealed stranded bare copper conductors.
