It features a durable, non-woven fiber construction that conforms well to irregular or contoured surfaces, preventing undercutting or damage to the base material. The disc's open-web material allows for cool operation and resists loading, enabling prolonged use while the evenly distributed aluminum oxide abrasives ensure a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. Utilizing aluminum oxide, a tough and durable abrasive known for its long life, the disc self-fractures to reveal fresh cutting edges, in contrast to traditional abrasives like garnet, which wear down more quickly.
