The small size of this desiccator allows for quick vacuum creation, facilitating rapid, repeated degassing of multiple samples. It features a vacuum rating of 740 mm Hg (29") and is constructed with a clear polycarbonate top for easy viewing of contents and a white polypropylene bottom. The stopcock includes a 2 mm Teflon® PTFE plug that accepts tubing with a 1/4" to 3/8" I.D. A peripheral flange around the bottom fits into two snap locks and seals the two halves against a Buna-N O-ring.
